Product Details
The Kasdava Pro is our cold-weather barefoot shoe: the same foot-shaped last and flat, flexible sole as our summer pairs, with a lined upper and a grippier outsole for wet pavement and cold mornings. For people who don't want to give up toe room from October onwards.
What makes it a barefoot shoe
- Wide toe box — room to spread even with a thicker winter sock on, which is where most insulated shoes fail.
- Zero drop — level from heel to toe, so you stand upright rather than tipped forward.
- Flexible sole — still bends with the foot, unlike the stiff slab most winter footwear is built on.
- Non-slip outsole — siped rubber tread for wet leaves, slush and cold pavement.
- Water-resistant upper — sheds rain and slush splash. It is not a sealed membrane, so sustained rain or standing water will get through.
- Warm lining — takes the bite out of cold air without bulking out the fit.

Who it suits
Autumn and mild winter — commutes, dog walks, damp mornings, cold shop floors. For deep snow or long periods standing outside in the cold, our fleece-lined ankle boots give you more coverage and insulation.
Finding your size
Order your usual size. The toe box is wider than a conventional shoe, so it will feel roomier across the forefoot — that is the design, not a sizing error. If you plan to wear thick winter socks, or you sit between sizes, go up one. Measure heel to longest toe and check it against the size chart before ordering.
If this is your first barefoot pair
Ease into them. There is far less material under your foot than you are used to, so start with a few hours a day for the first week or two. Most people find the adjustment takes two to three weeks.
Care
Wipe off road salt as soon as you can — left on, it dries out and marks the upper. Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air-dry away from direct heat; a radiator will crack the sole bond. Refresh the water-repellent spray once or twice a season.
